about: "The Skanx EP was recorded in two sessions at Bentham Studio, the first day was live takes of drums, bass, guitar, keys and trumpets - all in the live room together to make sure we captured the live energy of the band, the second day we recorded the rest of the horns and vocals. I then spent a week mixing it before the band came back to the studio for the final mastering. I wanted to get a really raw sound for this band, when i stood in the middle of the live room and listened to them they sounded great - and that was what i wanted to hear on the final mixes, a great band vibe'ing off of each other."

It features a large wooden live room, creating an excellent sound for acoustic instruments, with room for a whole band to record live.

There is also a vocal booth for recording without reverb as well as a chill out room (which can be used as another live room) and kitchen. less
