about: Jay Fisher is either insane, or a genius. Or more likely both. This album was a challenge to record, some of the sounds Jay makes can be hard to record and mix, screeching midrange and speaker destroying bass all had to be kept under control without destroying the disturbing nature of the music, i wanted to keep as much of jays vision intact without causing the listener to end up in therapy! So this job was mostly about very careful mixing, and i'm really pleased with the result. Its an honour to have been part of the making of such a masterpiece.

Located in the grounds of Bentham House, Bentham Studio has inspiring views overlooking the Wiltshire ... more countryside.

It features a large wooden live room, creating an excellent sound for acoustic instruments, with room for a whole band to record live.

There is also a vocal booth for recording without reverb as well as a chill out room (which can be used as another live room) and kitchen. less
