about: After the heavily "produced" sound of The Butterfly EP, Radio Chaos wanted to go in completely the opposite direction with this. So it was recorded live, with the whole band in the room together in one day. I wanted to record the sound of a band playing in a live room - rather than a load of separate tracks, so we spent a while getting the band to sound good acoustically in the live room before even setting up any mics. This approach gave us a really honest and moving recording. The final mix is pretty much exactly how it sounded when i stood in the middle of the live room as they played.

Located in the grounds of Bentham House, Bentham Studio has inspiring views overlooking the Wiltshire ... more countryside.

It features a large wooden live room, creating an excellent sound for acoustic instruments, with room for a whole band to record live.

There is also a vocal booth for recording without reverb as well as a chill out room (which can be used as another live room) and kitchen. less
